1:30-2:30 All-Level Tango Fundamentals Class with Dan Gilliland + Special Partner
This is the perfect time to offer an all-levels Tango Fundamentals class for beginners to advanced who want to brush up on their tango basics (as we ALL do!)
Dan Gilliland has been devoted to the art of Argentine Tango for over 14 years. He has performed as a featured dancer many times in the Bay Area, most recently with his partner last month at St. Clements, at the premiere of a new tango performed with a full orchestra. St Clement's own TRTSO.
Many in the audience wanted to know where they could start learning tango, and Dan taught a intro class last month, and continues with an all-levels basic class good for beginners to advanced dancers!
2:30-6:30 EMPANADA MILONGA with DJ THOMAS JOBASCH from Sacramento
Thomás is a popular DJ from Sacramento we've known for his wonderful DJ skills for the past 20 years in the Bay Area.
He has danced throughout the Bay Area and is well-loved with his wife Lee Yee, and brings a great knowledge of traditional golden-era tangos and, if we're lucky, some of his favorite alternative tangos.
No live music this month, so it's pure enjoyment of the best of recorded tango collected by this greaet DJ.
